Out-of-School Care Program


Summer Camp Registration 

Our 2025 Summer Camp registration is currently at capacity, if you wish to be placed on the wait list, please email ycs.care@ycs.nt.ca.

Yellowknife Catholic Schools offers a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive Out-of-School Care (OSC) program for students. Care is available:

  • Monday to Wednesday & Friday: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
  • Thursday: 12:20 PM – 5:30 PM
  • STIP/PD Days: Day camps are available.

Our program is offered at Weledeh School and École St. Joseph School for Junior Kindergarten students, with limited spaces available for older grades.

Program Availability:

✅ 2024/2025: Currently full.
✅ 2025/2026: Open for registration!

📌 Please Note: Registration emails will not be responded to until mid-April, and space confirmations will follow thereafter.


OSC Program Eligibility Criteria

  • Students must be attending École St. Joseph School or Weledeh Catholic School in the school year of application.
  • Students must be fully toilet-trained and able to use the washroom independently.
  • If your child requires one-on-one support, please contact us to discuss available options.
     

Registration Process

To register your child for the Out-of-School Care Program, please submit the following:
✔ Completed Registration Form
✔ Copy of your child’s immunization records
✔ Your child’s health care number
✔ Emergency contact (must be someone other than a parent/guardian who can be reached if needed)

How to Apply:

📍 Drop it off at your child’s school office or the YCS Central Services office

📌 Important: Registration does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Spaces are limited and will be confirmed via email by the program coordinator. You may not receive an update on your application status until mid-April.
